Curriculum Design
Media Literacy Curriculum
Designing for grades K-12
What is the purpose of a commercial? What is the purpose of a video game? Does all media have a purpose? These are the foundational questions from Unit 1 of the Media Education curriculum. Critical thinking skills are necessary to help young people navigate today’s mediated landscape. The skills can be taught as a stand-alone subject or integrated into Health and Wellness, Humanities or Science classes.
Professional Development: Technology Integration
Learning how to use media-rich tools in the classroom to enhance learning.
Most educators want relevant, useful and thoughtful professional development to enrich their practice. They want to feel at-ease using technology in their classrooms. Essential media tools can be integrated seamlessly into all subjects. I am available to lead PD on technology integration for teachers in all subjects and grade levels
